Alex Green

Alex began his career as an illustrator in the early 1990's working mainly conceptually, painting on canvas. During this time, he thoroughly explored traditional techniques and materials which he'd learnt during his fine art training at Bristol Polytechnic. His conversion to the use of computer for image-making went through many changes in style and content and he became more interested in observation ,the tension between line and colour and how the subtleties of body language play a part in conveying the overall message of an image.

Alex still uses traditional methods of pencil and ink on paper and only uses digital means to bring the work together. The most important thing for him is not to mask the thought process behind the image, keeping the directness of the original sketch in the final drawing. Alex has worked internationally, particularly in France, and has worked in many areas of illustration. Some of his clients include The Guardian, Prada, Waitrose and Oxford University.

YoAz

YoAz is a young graphic designer / illustrator both through his background and interests. Born in Paris, he completed his artistic training in several Art schools and visual communication and design in motion studies. But YoAz considers himself an autodidact. He started drawing in his early youth and just like most kids from his generation, he "naturally" learned to use computers. He therefor considers himself self-taught, but who ended up having diplomas and who wanted to work in the skateboard industry.

He masters human or animal representations with a special interest in movie and music stars. He starts with a rather symmetrical and geometric sketch he sometimes scans (like in his series Animals). He then uses his favorite drawing software to richly color his art.

Laura Laine

Laura Laine is a Helsinki based artist who works as an independent illustrator, but also enjoys collaborating with photographers, stylists and directors. She creates beautiful hand-drawn characters that live in a surreal world of fashion, illustration and art. Her delicately drafted, haute couture-inspired pencil drawings walk a fine line between the elegance of high fashion and the defiant attitude of gothic fantasy, echoing the lean and lanky figures of Aubrey Beardsley.

Her vision and precision means that her illustrations are often fluid and full of movement.

Her recent clients include Vogue Japan, Vogue Germany, Sephora, Zara and H&M.
